New week, three new ways to collect more social proof + one new Senja yapper


1. API & MCP: Automate your invite flow

You can now connect Senja to your product via the new POST /invites endpoint - so invite requests go out automatically, triggered by the moments that matter most. Think for example, a user submits an NPS score inside your product, and a testimonial request lands in their inbox seconds later.

Want to go even further? Connect an AI (like Claude) to the Senja MCP and ask it to send invites for you, right from chat. No manual outreach or copy-pasting needed, you get proof on autopilot now!

2. Import your Google Contacts

Your best testimonials often come from people you already know. Now you can import your Google Contacts directly into Senja, and noooo it's not just saved contacts. Anyone you've emailed, shared a file with, or been in a group with shows up too.


3. Custom invite sequences, per batch

Not every ask should sound the same, trust us, we know it. Now you can customize the email sequence for each batch you send, so your most important contacts get a message that feels personal.

Your global defaults stay untouched, and you can test-send the customized version to yourself before it goes out.

You can now track every invite you send from Senja, end to end.

Thatโ€™s right, weโ€™re back with another glow-up to Senja, courtesy of our new engineer Nikolai.ย 

Find any form, click onย Invites, and you'll see the status of each one: Sent, Opened, Clicked, Collected, Undelivered, Unsubscribed, or Paused.

No more wondering whether your customer actually saw your invite, clicked through, or went and left you a testimonial. It's all right there to review.

Plus, you can use our slick new invite system to invite more customers to your forms.

A few small wins that come with this:

  • Invites now live on each form, so you're tracking the right pool of people for the right ask

  • You can edit your follow-up copy directly (so the second nudge sounds like you, not us)

  • You can add your logo and a spokesperson avatar to the invite emails

  • The Forms screen is looking better than ever

I'm pleased to share something that's been a long time coming: Classic forms no longer exist. We've migrated all 35,000+ of them into the unified form builder.

Senja used to have two types of forms: Classic and 2.0. Each had its own editor, its own features, and a "which one do I pick?" moment every time you created one. We've merged them into a single editor with two layouts.

What you've gained if you were using a Classic form:

  • ๐Ÿ“ฉ Editable invite emails. Customize the email you send when inviting customers to your form.ย 

  • ๐Ÿ’ฌ Editable thank-you emails. Write the follow-up your customers see after submitting.ย 

  • ๐Ÿ‘ค Spokesperson avatars. Add a friendly face to your form and the emails it sends.ย 

  • ๐ŸŽ Coupon and link rewards. Spin the Wheel isn't the only reward type anymore.ย 

  • ๐Ÿ”” Native Slack notifications. Get a ping in Slack the moment a testimonial comes in.ย 

All your existing features came with you:

  • Combined rating and question on one page

  • Different prompts for video and text questions

  • Backgrounds and gradients

One small ask: if you had a Classic form, open it once to take a look. Most migrated cleanly, but with 35,000+ moving over, a few may have drifted. If something looks off, you can tweak it in the form editor.

I've wanted this for a long time, and it's finally here: You can now connect Senja directly to Claude using MCP.

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is how AI assistants like Claude connect to external tools. And now Senja is one of them.

Connect Senja once, and Claude can search your testimonials, filter by tag or rating, create new ones, and grab links and embed codes for all your Senja assets: Wall of Love pages, widgets, forms, case studies, quick links, sizzle reels, popups, you name it.

A few things you can try straight away:

  • Find me testimonials that mention onboarding

  • Get my most recent 5-star reviews

  • Give me the embed code for my Wall of Love

  • Add a new testimonial from John

Slack notifications for new testimonials directly from Senja. No more third-party tools, no extra subscriptions.

If youโ€™ve been routing Senja through Zapier to get a ping in Slack when a new testimonial lands, you can ditch that now. It's built right in.

To set it up: Connect with Slack in your Form settings, like this:

When a new testimonial comes in, Senja sends a notification to whichever Slack channel you choose, with the reviewer's name, star rating, and a snippet of what they wrote.

One click takes you straight to it in Senja.

If you're part of a team, this one's especially useful. Everyone stays in the loop without anyone having to remember to check.
