Auto translate testimonials
It would be great if there was a possibility to auto-translate all the reviews to any language (using DeepL or OpenAI). We can pass a parameter (lang) and it will get the translated reviews to the proper language (like what FB is doing with the auto-translate).

PinnedGood news. Testimonial translation is now live and available on all Senja Pro accounts. You can:
Setup automatic testimonial translation at a form level
Add new translations under Edit Testimonial
See the languages of each testimonial under Manage Testimonials (by flag)
Search or filter by language
Add translated testimonials to widgets in the Studio
Automatically show testimonials in widgets in the visitor's language

PinnedWe're actively working on this, and we're hoping to get it out sometime this month.
We plan to give you the option to have a predefined list of languages you want to support. Senja will auto-translate testimonials in those languages.
As for widgets, you should be able to change the embed language from the embed code (we're not completely sure about how this would work yet!). Let us know your thoughts!

Hello,
I'm genuinely excited about this idea too! 🙂 We could leverage the DeepL API along with Senja to achieve high-quality translations at no cost. Currently, I'm in the process of translating my website into both French and English. Previously, I maintained two separate websites for each language, but I've decided to consolidate them. However, there's a slight issue: my testimonials from Senja are still displayed in English, even when my site is viewed in French. This inconsistency not only looks odd but also diminishes the powerful impact of social proof.

Currently, I have a Python script to translate all testimonials into 5 languages and import them with different tags to display on my website. I use tag filters to differentiate languages. This development will be a lifesaver.

What are you trying to achieve here. Can someone share the use case. For example, customer submit testimonial in french, we allow you to translate it to German. Why? For a german-language version of your website?

Not sure about others, but for language learning products and services, the articulation of the testimonial is usually better in the user's native language as opposed to their second/third one

Well in my case, the testimonial request was in English, so I get your point. I guess the real request is the ability to have all testimonials appear in the prospect's preferred language no matter what language the testimonial was done in.
