Clone testimonials

Feature Request

It would be a super delightful user experience if we could clone testimonials. It would be handy to split some testimonials from a customer. For example, you have a long testimonial that has several touchpoints about your product and has so much information that is useful but irrelevant in some places. This way you could easily split it into smaller versions and use them in the best way possible.

Great news, you can now duplicate your testimonials with a singe click. See how below.

This change is part of our new testimonial viewer screen and includes more powerful features that will help you manage and share your testimonials. Look out for more details in the next few days.

We're working on a new testimonial dashboard that handles testimonial duplication gracefully. Soon, you'll be able to see all variants of a testimonial and all testimonials from a single customer in one single view.

We need a way to use the testimonials multiple times, and I just tried to place one on the slider, but it is too long, so I want to have a short version (kind of highlighted) of the testimonial and use the full one in another place.

You could also add more settings to widgets to use only highlighted text, even on widgets that currently show full text.

@Tamás Are you looking to clone testimonials into their own listing, or to actually have a version function where one testimonial can have multiple versions? Would love to know if the latter would work for you?

Do you want to ability to clone testimonials or are you looking for testimonials versions. With versions, each testimonial could have multiple variations (shorter, longer, edited, different language)

Agree. I just did this by hand today, multiple times.

We definitely want to do this soon. It's a little complicated right now because of video testimonials (we'd have to duplicate the video to prevent conflicts) but I totally agree with your motivation.

For starters, this could be done only for text. That would speed up things.
