Different highlights for same testimonial
I’d like an ability to create different “sets of highlights” for the same testimonial.
E.g. I may want to highlight mentions of feature X in testimonials to show in one widget, and highlight mentions of feature Y in those same testimonials in another widget. Right now, I think I can only apply a single set of highlights to a given testimonial (and then toggle whether to display highlights or not).
I view highlights as dynamic and part of widget design vs. a property of the testimonial itself, which is why I think supporting multiple “sets of highlights” can do the trick.

Putting this up for discussion and waiting for more upvotes.
For now, what you can do is duplicating the testimonial and put different set of highlights.

I got excited for a second that the “multiple highlights” problem was solved - but then realized this is just for creating images of testimonials.
I could imagine a similar solution for widgets, however.
E.g. anytime you use a widget where you curate a specific list of testimonials - allow us to click on one of the selected testimonials, and change what is highlighted. It would apply only for that instance of that widget.

Another reason for multiple “sets” of highlights.
If I highlight multiple sentences in a testimonial - then use a widget like “Highlights Bold” - I’ll see each highlight show up as a separate quote within the same widget. There is no way to pick which highlights within a single testimonial I want to feature. By having different sets of highlights per testimonial, this could be solved by allowing me to choose exactly which highlights I want to include in a widget like “Highlights Bold”.
