Merge testimonials automatically

While importing testimonials from Threads posts, with the Chrome extension, it creates multiple customers even when the name and information are the same. It’s not possible to select an already existing customer there (and we might not know if they already exist in the database)

It would be super helpful to have them merged automatically under one customer instead of having different

    Thanks for the suggestion.

    Once the testimonials are merged, it can’t be unmerged, that’s why it’s safer to have manual merging function, not automated one.

    But, if the customer details are the same (main trigger is email address), the automerge will happen.

    You can always do the merging by filtering by name following this guide: How do I merge testimonials?

      Hey Rani,

      We're importing Threads posts through the Chrome extension, so there isn't a field for an email address.

      We might process the current testimonials manually, but new ones won’t be merged automatically. We have to check if the user already exists and then merge the new testimonials one by one. This defeats the purpose of the import feature in the Chrome extension.
