Selecting a star rating auto-submits form 2.0

Currently the form requires two clicks on the first step. One to pick the star rating and one to click the submit button. To get more submissions and simplify the UX, I’d like the first step of clicking a star rating to automatically submit the star rating and move on to step 2.
