    Hey there,

Custom in-video frame selection isn't supported yet, right now the Edit function lets you upload an external image as a thumbnail, but you can't pick a specific frame from the video itself. This applies to video widgets, exports, and form welcome videos.

As a workaround you can screenshot your desired frame and upload it as the thumbnail via the Edit function on your Proof page. More details here: https://support.senja.io/how-do-i-edit-my-video-testimonial-qdbtx

Keeping this open for discussion, would love to see more votes on it!

Was just about to file this feature request - adding it here instead:

When I upload a Welcome Video to a form - an “animated GIF” thumbnail is automatically created. I’ve heard from multiple people that it looks like the video is “auto-playing on mute” in the background (when it really is just an animated GIF, looping).

It would be great to have the option to upload a custom thumbnail for the Welcome Video. Whether a video is watched or not depends very heavily on that thumbnail (just like the role a headline plays for a news article).
