Add testimonial button

It would be ace if we could find an existing person and click ‘add testimonial’ to add another one by them, rather than having to duplicate and edit OR set them up afresh. We often gather several testimonials about different themes/products from the one person over time. This would make it far quicker and keep one person’s testimonials listed together.

    Hi @Joanna,

Good news, this is already possible! If you open a customer record, you'll find these options under Customer actions:

    • Invite to a form — send them a new form to collect another testimonial

    • Import a testimonial — manually add one to their record

You can also merge duplicate customer records using this guide.

Let us know if it covers what you need.

Maybe the issue is with the label

if Import a testimonial is the button to manually add one to their record, “Add a testimonial” (or similar) might work better

      Thanks for the recommendation tho!

Better way to add multiple testimonials manually for one person

Tell me if there’s another way, but currently to add a second, third etc. testimonial for one client’s record we have to find the person then duplicate their existing testimonial and edit it.

It would be good if there was a button to click to add a second testimonial within the person’s record.

It would also be good when in this section editing a testimonial you could add the tag before saving as that field is missing. You can only tag it once saved.

@Joanna How are you adding these currently?

If you’re using import, select the existing customer in the drop down:

@Olly Meakings, I’m importing them with the Chrome extension from Threads posts,

but it creates multiple customers even when the name and information are the same. It’s not possible to select an already existing customer there (however, I might not know if they already exist in the database)
