General design settings for widgets

Editing the design of each widget is quite tedious. In principle, we want to apply a common design to all our widgets by default, with the same colours and brand font. We could consider managing the widget design a little more centrally, and then adjusting it widget by widget if necessary.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

    Waiting for more upvotes to see if a lot of people want the same.

    But… this feature is kinda available if you’re on Pro plan, you can set a Brand Kit:

    • Forms and Wall of Love will follow the color set in the Brand Kit

    • Not applicable for widget

      This does not apply to widgets @Rani , so your response is completely off the mark. I am on the pro plan and I am not talking about forms or the wall of love. Please be more serious in your response.

      I put the word "WIDGET" in the title, I can't be any more explicit than that.

      Furthermore, I am not the only one making requests on widget UX, but the requests are scattered throughout your feedback management because you do not link the requests together. Example:

    Studio Widgets Design Inconsistency

    Depending on which Widgets you choose, you have different options available.

    I would find it valuable to have the same customization options for each widget available:

    • The ability to Shorten longer Testimonials

    • "Two videos" doesn't have the border/shadow/color options

    • "Faces & Stars" only has one primary color. No color options for the close icon or CTA button. No BG color or coloring stars

    As a UX Designer, I could assist you in creating an overview of each feature with potential improvements to feed the backlog

    New Widget design, table format

    Based on a review including the customer's image (whene it exist), the entries should each be displayed side by side in a table format.
    Have a look at review.io, they display it in a similar way.

      More (modern) widget designs + social proof system

      Some more designs would be great to choose from.

      It feels like many people use the same widget out there for their websites. I wish for a few more authentic and modern designs next to this *5-star only design.

      Also, a way to check for social proof would be great since, right now, I can literally write 500 5-star reviews by myself.

      (which I guess works, but if there is a way to create unique testimonials from true customers, that would be a huge raise in the trust factor)

        @Thilo Witting Would love to see some example widgets you'd like to see on Senja. Do you have any screengrabs or inspiration?
