Duplication of widgets functionality
Currently, when we duplicate a widget that's in a folder, the duplicated version isn't duplicated inside the folder. This means we have to leave the folder in order to drag it in. Ideally, it's duplicated right there on the screen, even if it's currently within a folder.
I would love if these features existed
1) a widget that allows me to create hero quotes that slide on a singular row rather than a column 2) the ability to add “verified customer” checkmarks next to names
images - saved templates not working
I saved several images as templates, can’t find them in the Studio. Also would be great to have the option to adjust text size as my sense is some of the text may be too small for our IG/FB ads and there was room for larger text in the template I was using.
Show the dates and likes in French
In some widgets, when you choose to show the dates, it’s in english. I would like the possibility to show it in French.
Rotating testimonial for email
I add a widget that rotates different testimonials into the space
Filtering Tabs for Marquee Widget
This would be awesome to have, I know we can use it for Masonry and probably a few other widgets but I would love the ability to show these marquees with filtering options where necessary.
Add optional auto-swiping to Andoya Carousel
I love this carousel. I’d love it even more if it had an optional auto-swiping toggle and a slider for the speed, so that all testimonials scroll automatically without requiring user interaction.
Option to show relative date in wall of love
In the wall of love, it shows dates in the format “31 January 2025” or “5 Feb 2025”. It would be nice if there was an option to show it in a relative date format e.g. “2 days ago” or “1 week ago”
Auto-Trim Video Silence
I understand Forms 2.0 came out with the “multi-step” questions that stitch clips together into one clip. Is it possible however, with legacy forms to auto-remove the gaps with silence in the videos?
Toggle Widget Visibility
I think it would make a lot of sense to allow people to toggle a widgets visibility to that it is easy to AB test and to pre-emptively add in widgets into the code and wait for additional reviews that would work well in that location when it is time to use them.
Show testimonial recency on widgets
Add a label showing “fresh” or “new” testimonials so they feel more recent and more relevant. Aka “left this week”. Timeliness to drive engagement and trust.
Wall of Love Customisation
Hey there Senja team, I’d like to request for more customisation options in the Wall of Love widget. My team really liked the Wall of Love feature but we noticed that a few things were not customisable and therefore, unable to use the, in our website as it doesn’t match our design style. Options like the background and testimonial colors, adding/removing texts in the hero section, and maybe adjusting the font sizes in the hero section.
Social Media Videos (9:16) carrousel - Widget Template
Vertical (9:16) videos are the most common and powerful media content in the planet at the moment. Replicating that experience and quickly showing many of these types of videos (a familiar piece of content) in a carrousel website section of real user experiences with the product/brand and reviews is a common thing now in e-commerce. Here are some examples I found recently: https://spacegoods.com/ https://theretrosnap.com/ Social Media Video Testimonials are very powerful, leveraging social proof having a Senja template, such as carrousel focused on these types of videos is a must! For the Design (Ideas, possibilities): - The video previews would be a short 1sec gif/replay video similar to what happens in tiktok/IG where the videos would always be playing the first second in loop - There could be the option, similar to other templates, that every video shows in the corner the icon on the platform it was posted from. -The template could even have some similar generic social media design, for showing the username and profile picture of the user who gave the review, plus some generic like buttons. This could give an even stronger native/trustworthy as it pulls upon users familiarity from the social media platforms. - if the number of likes/comments would be automatically pulled/populated, that is even better! But it could also just let the senja user populate the number themselves. If any of these design ideas is not possible, such as for eg. the video loop or the numbers of likes showing, it’s not a problem at all! Just having a 9:16 video ratio focused template would already be great! Example (Ignoring the white phone frame, but focusing just on the video part)
Display multiple images per testimonial
Customers are able to upload multiple images in their testimonial, but only the first one gets displayed. It’ll be great if multiple photos could be displayed. If not in this particular Carousel widget, at least in the Image Gallery one.
iMessage Review
One thing that seems to always get attention is when people see text messages. Can you create a review template that looks like it waas done on imessage?
Vertical scroll
We’d love to have the option for the marquee to scroll vertically please. Thanks!
Search Field
Having a field for visitors to search all testimonials (either by a keyword, name, etc.) would be amazing for our visitors to read or watch testimonials based on their interest. Having the search bar pull from the transcription of video testimonials would be great too!
