Anonymous/Initials for testimonials would be so helpful!
I am an ADHD Coach and Life Coach - my clients don’t necessarily want their names out there, and I understand the need for confidentiality. Please make it an option for them to be able to post testimonials anonymously!
Extend REST endpoints
Currently the docs show only that GET and POST requests to testimonials are available. Would be great to also use PUT/PATCH to update testimonials. And further extend the routes to also do form invites. Perhaps the current Zapier options do this but many do not use Zapier, but alternatives like Make or n8n for automation. The addtional rest endpoints would help us further automate the workflow.

By default sort your testimonials by date and override the positions for some so that they're always at the top
add a few options to be able to sort testimnoials descending by date pinned ones at the top tagged ones from specific tags at the top for wall of love and other widgets For example: Sort by: Testimonial (testimonial not empty and/or length of testimonial) Highlighted testimonials (testimonials admin has highlighted And most definitely, sort by Tag.
Centralize colors
Would be cool to define the CI colors once in the settings, then apply them to all templates.
Default avatars
It would be great to have the option to default the avatar image to an initial rather than the greyed out profile, similar to Google or even this Senja account! I've manually assigned initials to reviews to avoid having to hide the avatar, or having the default avatars crowd banners making it look visually unengaging. It would be great if this could be done automatically!
Auto translate testimonials
It would be great if there was a possibility to auto-translate all the reviews to any language (using DeepL or OpenAI). We can pass a parameter (lang) and it will get the translated reviews to the proper language (like what FB is doing with the auto-translate).
Show reviewers' company information on the Wall of Love
A reviewers’ company is one of the most valuable pieces of information that should definitely be shown with reviews on Walls of Love.
Enable API access for Starter Plans
Come on Senja team… Starter Plans are full paying customers, and it’s not cheap. We should have access to the API so we can better integrate with our existing tools. It would make more sense to limit the number of Testimonials a Starter Plan can have instead of no API access, because, if you’re collecting, let’s say, over 300 testimonials, you’re probably doing pretty well as a business and can afford to upgrade to the Pro Plan. Please enable API access for Starters.
Stats for forms
Collects stat like unique views, views per day, conversion to see if the form has traffic.
Auto-approve reviews that are 4 stars and higher
Currently there’s only one feature, whether to auto-approve all testimonials or none. It’d be great to have testimonials that are specific star level or higher (i.e. min. 4/5 star rating) senja detects that review is positive and meets the rating requirement and auto-publishes it. This saves the user from visiting Senja to approve testimonials manually.
Folder structure for widgets
I use a lot of different widgets and it's getting messy. Putting them in folders or tags (which you can filter/sort) would be VERY helpful!
